I am a sucker for travel/adventure genre. A good friend got me this book "GHOSTS OF K2". And next thing I realized is that the last few days my post dinner walks has been replaced with reading. And very much like a goodreads reviewer mentioned, I forgot it's a book on the history of K2 summit attempts but feels more like a thriller that kept me on the edge throughout.

Standing incredible 8,611 meters high, K2 is the second tallest mountain, only 100+ meters shorter than Mt Everest. Infamous as savage mountain because of the number of casualties occurred during mountain expeditions. One estimate states, one of every four climbers who made it to the top has lost their life.
